Using Geometric tiles to create a Contemporary Kitchen
Design Haus have achieved a contemporary and low maintenance kitchen by contrasting white appliances with dark furnishing and using complimentary floor and wall tiles to add character.
The clients opted for a decorative geometric shape on their splashback walls to create a modern look with some edge. Tile Space’s Cube Gloss White Mosaics are joined by a sheet for easy laying and allow cool patterns and shapes. This amazing geometric pattern comes from combining diamond shape tiles together to create a geometric cube effect. It is no surprise that this tile is a popular choice for many homes, the decorative mosaic adds the wow factor and enhances the simple fixtures. The light colours make the space feel bigger and brighter, while the darker grout ties in with the black furnishings.
Pairing a feature tile with a complimentary tile in the same tone creates a cohesive space with interest. Using Cementia Grey Concrete Look tiles on the floor creates an urban feel which really works for the look of this kitchen. The practicality of porcelain makes it a great option when real concreate it impractical. Porcelain tiles don’t need sealing and won’t absorb water. They are easy to maintain and clean and wont stain or fade under UV and best yet they will look as good as the day they were installed for decades. A perfect option for a busy kitchen.
